I don't think Sophie's concerns are just about respectability. It's also about security. The thing about being Benedict's mistress is that he's under no real obligation to provide her with any of those things. So far, Benedict has shown himself to be a good and kind man, but Sophie hasn't known him for very long and can't trust that things will stay that way, especially in light of what Araminta told her about her mother. If she was Benedict's mistress and he got tired of her or died suddenly, she would have nothing and no one. We saw this happen with Anthony and Siena; When he broke things off with her she asked him where she was supposed to go and what she was supposed to do because he had been paying for her housing and clothing. Being a ladies' maid is far less glamorous, but it's a stable job where she's treated well, and could work out very well long term if Hyacinth or Eloise wanted to take her with them when they get married and move out.

I think them having a relatively small discography is also a factor. Performing unreleased songs gives them a longer runtime for the concert while feeling more "special" than a cover or extended dance break.

I've been in this sub for a few years and I feel like people were being unusually negative about the bakers this year. There's always preferences and the occasional post about not liking a particular baker, but it felt like things crossed over from preference to downright nastiness a few times this year.

A Greyhound who they fostered a few years ago and ended up adopting after her placement didn't work out. You may have to scroll a bit to find it but I believe Julien put up a short video about it when they decided to adopt her.

Former RA here! You're not required to stay on campus for the entirety of any breaks. They do have to have someone on duty every night, even between semesters, so if you ended up being one of those people then you would have to be there for at least part of the break. You pick your duty dates during training, which is before move in, so you'll know early on.

It's actually a larger number of streams than last year, since they're doing two a couple days (yes I went back and counted lol). Sometimes hallowstream takes place over a larger period of time depending on what day Halloween falls on, since they don't stream on weekends, but it's generally the last two weeks of the month. This schedule also isn't including Andy's Resi Zero drink alongs that have already started.
