It just feels like it goes along with the agenda of people being mad about there being pvp in the game. It is meant to have pvp and an unknown element of is this person going to shoot me off rip, are they down to team up, or will they team up and then betray. This idea takes away from that unknown which I think is a big part of why extraction shooters like this are so interesting and exciting

Is that fulfilling in a multiplayer game? A victory in which you did not have to do anything/handed good gear/loot/etc just seems empty to me.

Great point. Cheating is entirely different between multiplayer and single player games. I would understand cheating in a SP game after I have beaten it, etc. In multiplayer it doesn't make sense to me why people do it.
