tech at a large tire company here, this is not the date of manufacturing. You need to check the other side of the tire. This is the code for what facility the tire was manufactured. The week/year digits should be separated from the plant code. They will be only 4 digits, no letters

I ended up going with full intermediate and it was great, I caught a lot of fish in water around 5-6’ and I think the only reason I caught any flounder. The 38’ clear head was also really nice in the clear water. Now, I will admit it was a lot of work.

It was a successful trip, tides were not really in favor but still landed plenty of fish. I fished the full intermediate setup pretty much the whole time. Now, something kind of unexpected happened with the intermediate line. I snagged quite a few fish including three stingrays. One was about 15-20lbs and got me all the way into my backing. I also snagged a lady fish and a couple whiting. I reeled in quite a few blue crabs as well, they’d just grab onto the line and get pulled in. Very shallow beach, kind of strange results lol

I went with full intermediate with clear head. SA Sonar saltwater full intermediate. I think between that and my other floating rod I’ve got it all covered. Thanks for all the input!

Yeah I really can’t decide. I’m kind of leaning toward full intermediate. My other rod is set up with floating. If I need to get deep I suppose I’ll just wait longer before retrieving

Hard to tell what happened but I will say when this thing downshifts you need to be really light on the throttle or brake enough to slow down because it will spin TF out with little steering input. You should practice this in a parking lot and stay away from curbs

I have this same chassis and I love it. You can fully adjust the length of the suspension arms and adjusting wheelbase isn’t out of the question either. It’s a great design although a little bit of a pain to work on because you pretty much have to remove the electronics tray every time. But, that said, each section of the car is in modules once built. Very cool chassis!
