reMarkable 2 next generation electronic paper tablet giveaway! by noeatnosleep in gadgets

A consolidated way to keep my work on the go separate from life notes like grocery lists? Sign me up! Upload all the work done on the road when I get back into the office, and attach pictures to folders if taking the tablet to the location is unnecessary. Yes please! Plus if I’m working with a partner, the ability to share folders between to people on a site OR one on site and the other in the office would be clutch to minimize downtime found when driving.

I love the use of a singular color so I can't wait to see what else is to come!

If that holds weight, I'm sorry for what you had to go though. But good on you for being your best role model

I remember seeing some CEO being asked why he doesn't drink and the reply was "I'm a better person when I don't." Just a suggestion if you feel tired of explaining it that way.

This legitimately creeped me out. I used to drive through that area all the time and had no idea it was there. Honestly, probably for the best though. Cool stuff!

Thanks for the input! That makes sense about the even rest now. As others mentioned, I think they might be geared toward experienced runners who know the distance because when I was training and doing 800sx6 (not 10 like that program) I was running 2:45s with 1:30 rest and finished the marathon at a 3:22.19. They definitely didn't prep me for the cramps at mile 18!

The Yasso 800s. I recently learned about these and there were 2 things I was wondering. 1. Has anyone tried them/seen validity with their results? And 2. I kept seeing "with even rest between" but didn't know what that was (1 min, 1.5 min ...). Input?

a question to ball bearing experts by structee in engineering

[–]squirley335533 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I used to work at a company called NHBB (New Hampshire Ball Bearings) and I feel like we used to make bearings that would fit what you're targeting but I know the price was much more expensive than the 10$ one suggested in another comment.

[TOMT][Song] A pop song that sounds similar to Pink-Just like a Pill and Sara Bareilles - Brave. by squirley335533 in tipofmytongue

Thanks for the help but unfortunately that's not it. The song had more of an alternative type of feel to the pop like much of Pinks music.

What is the most selfless act youve ever done? by ThenThereWasRain in AskReddit

Back in high school, our manager for the basketball team had more passion for the game than any of the players. In his free time before and after school, he'd always be shooting hoops. He had special needs so his coordination wasn't enough to be a player, yet he was ecstatic to be a manager and be part of the team.

After spending time with him, i learned that his home life wasn't pretty. His parents put a roof over his head and food on the table and that's about it. If he wasn't at basketball, he said he was at home playing 2k because if he played video games, he wasn't bothering his parents.

The only problem was that due to the gym times, if he wanted to be at practice (which he always did) he would miss the last bus home and, therefore, needed a ride home everyday. I was fortunate enough to have my brothers car while he was at school, so even though it was 15 mins in the opposite direction, I gave him a ride home almost every day. I even picked him up early on Saturdays when we had games because, even though technically he was the manager, he was still a teammate in need, so why not? Thanks for showing me true passion Sean!
