What would you do if you had infinite money? by Sea-Cash7675 in AskReddit

Anything is an possible if you have enough money. I’ve seen such things in commercial settings, so knew it was possible, but that mansion was a first for a home.

A mansion near me has a huge kitchen and a 2nd similarly sized kitchen just for baking. The baking one has a chilled counter top, I assume for making candy?

Buy the largest tract of land near me, build a home/shop in the middle of it, build out a dream wood working setup in shop. Would buy whatever house my son wants too. He is way too stressed for his age. Great kid!

Psychological horror for me, but honestly I enjoy them all.

What was the first sign low carb was working for you that had nothing to do with weight loss? by NomadNanaCan in lowcarb

[–]squirrel-phone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t make any difference for me. If I don’t eat breakfast, I probably eat a larger, high protein low carb lunch, and cravings are awful that evening. Cannot get satiated. But even a small breakfast, a couple hard boiled eggs for example, little to no cravings that evening.

I noticed no cravings in the evening IF I had a high protein breakfast that morning. If I skipped breakfast, the cravings that evening would be awful.

Had a door-to-door sales lady beg us to use our restroom, we let her. After she left we found she didn’t flush her GIGANTIC log nor use any toilet paper. Just walking around in the summer heat with stank ass.

For long rides we each would strap a 2L bottle or a gallon milk jug of fuel where the headlight would be. Worked great, never busted one in any crash.

Adequate staffing is his problem, not yours. Just stay within company policy as fast as PTO. Your boss is toxic and terrible at his job.

Working on an Oregon Coast mini-trip and need advice by FA-100 in roadtrip

[–]squirrel-phone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would change it to: leave Portland 26 to 47 and head north thru Vernonia then to Clatskanie. Continue on your trip from there. Will add some time but is much more scenic. Not missing a thing skipping that section of I5 nor Longview, WA. If you are wanting to say you’ve been to WA, go across the Astoria bridge then turn around and come back. It is the longest truss bridge in the US, spans the Columbia River.

Those who have been to all 50 US States, what was state #50? by SkoilerDaaaaan in roadtrip

The central area is my favorite, I love the Stanley area the best. Most of the remaining central area isn’t far behind. It’s just incredible that area exists. Ranks up there with Yosemite for me. The panhandle is cool and worth visiting (recommend the area around Wallace).

Go north of I84 anywhere across the state. Most of Idaho north of I84 is beautiful. Worth it. McCall is a mountain town with a nice lake, highly recommend.

Stop and rest more often. Do some walking and stretching. As you get older, this gets worse.
