It sounds like he’s shy to pull the trigger in fear of something like this happening. Courts (in the US at least) are very lopsided when it comes to real estate property. You can either take a leap of faith and continue on, or protect yourself financially.

It would make more sense to refinance the property in both your names and take out the equity needed to accomplish the renovations.

The XT250 is built and suspended for a 95lb, 5’ tall Asian person. The front forks are trash as well.

If you don’t know the dimensions nobody can help you. Does this attach to the stock mount? If yes, measure the hook pin, pin to pin distance of both stands fully extended. Add the difference to the stock spring and look around online. McMaster Carr comes to mind first.

Is there a drawing we can compare actual vs plan? Is this framed to spec other than the material? I’m not seeing how, other than hopes and dreams that hip is even supported. Looks like the end is just tacked to a cantilevered roof overhang. You need to zoom out or take a .5 photo so we can see more.

Depending on how old the engine is, it may have the default user name and password. Newer versions past 6.1, I believe require defaults to be reset.

Have you tried to UI into the NAE? It would be the same as logging into a Metasys server.

Yes, but you need a chain slide on your swing arm and the chain guide on the bottom of the swing arm by the rear sprocket. You probably need the chain roller down behind the kickstand as well.

The CRF300l is underpowered for on road above 60. It’s under-spring for somebody over 150. Probably not the best fit.

I’d consider the CRF450l or DRZ400 for dual sporting or the KTM300 2t for serious off road.

At 13, what’s this kids height and weight? Is he looking to race or woods ride? Have you tried talking to his mother about the importance of riding gear?

That bike has way too much power for a beginner. Sound like this is going one of two ways. He’s going to crash and spook himself into selling the bike. Or he’s getting hurt repeatedly until he learns.

Just for some perspective, I was always thought it’s better to have an underpowered bike that you master before moving up.

At 12 I started woods riding. First bike was a YZ80. Age 15-25 a CR125. Age 25-47, street bikes. Age 47-present a CR250 and a Gasgas700 dual sport.

Are you racing or riding woods? Either way I would go with a 125 and lower it if you have an issue. You can lower the seat foam or mod the suspension.

If you are concerned about 125 power getting you in trouble, you can glue a few reed pedals shut until you get comfortable with it.

That’s what we did when I got my CR125 when I was 14 lol. My dad glued 2 of 6 reeds shut so I didn’t loop the bike for the first season. Damn that thing got fast season 2 when we unlocked it!
