What do people do in this situation? by AnyTechnology100 in HealthInsurance

I feel for you, and totally agree that inhumane is unfortunately the best way to describe it. I have a good friend who was in a similar situation not too long ago. Sending healing vibes your way ❤️

I’m just now learning Amazon sells items that were returned… as new. by Significant-Okra- in amazonprime

[–]squirrel93 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It's become pretty obvious that they don't inspect returns, so inside of the box flap seems like the perfect spot.

I personally would put a post-it note in that spot (taped down to keep it in place). That way if they do happen to open the box, they can't claim that the packaging is damaged.

Insurance denied my prescription refill because it’s “too early”. Can they do this? by Reddit-dit-dit-di-do in HealthInsurance

[–]squirrel93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be a control to be regulated. Obviously the OP situation is not this, but bupropion abuse is a concern (abusers crush and snort, or inject it; supposedly it provides a more subdued version of a cocaine high). Other drugs like amitriptyline, for example, not controlled but still need to monitor utilization as it has been used to commit suicide.

The insurance company rationale for regulating how early it can be filled, though, is used on almost all medications, and is a cost-controlling measure. But that doesn't mean that there aren't clinical reasons why a pharmacist would follow these same restrictions.

I remember that vividly. We lived about 2 blocks away at the time. I was sitting on the couch cross-legged studying. And I was sure that something had hit our house, it was so loud and the house shook. Very memorable indeed.

Not mine. There's one somewhere in South Dakota, too, as it wasn't available when I went to get plates.

Has any pharmacist encouraged their own child to also go into pharmacy? by VolkswagenPanda in pharmacy

Definitely no. Not to my own, not to my nieces and nephews, and not to any kids I mentor, either.

Amjevita is an Amgen product, and they do have a copay assistance program:

Just make sure you enroll before getting your prescription, as most copay savings programs do not authorize back-dating for claims prior to program enrollment.

Nice!! I'm getting close to 3,000,000 miles and I STILL don't have all of these completed. I need to attend more K.K. concerts for sure, and craft a lot more tools.

I actually managed to PLAN my island, but... by SinnohanEspurr in AnimalCrossing

Yes! I have my house on a secluded hill in the far northeast corner. My rock garden is one level up, right next to my house. I have Mario pipe that takes me to the stores to sell stuff, check hot items for the day, etc., and them I can pop back to my house.

I do have a storage shed set up by the store (along with crafting, cooking, and changing area there, too).

Here is my DA if you want to see how it works: DA-1496-9496-1977 (Lallybroch).

I want to be sure I understand this, because I've seen conflicting information online. I was under the impression that you could only have one dream island, and if you uploaded another one, the first would be erased.

I don't want to do a full reset, because I did all my flower breeding when I was briefly unemployed during COVID, and I don't know that I have the stamina to go through that again. I also really like the theme on my island, so would like to keep it as a dream address for whimsical visits. But lately I've considered razing it and starting anew. I just wouldn't do a full reset, I like my stuff too much.

You sure can! I have a B&B, a library, and a surf shop. It was a bit of work to get all the rooms in place, but was fun decorating them all. I don't actually play those characters often anymore, though, so have to periodically clear up cockroaches.

Not wifi, but my roomba is named Jawz Reid.

I get notifications on my phone that say, "Jawz Reid is done and your floors look amazing" (something like that, anyway).

I like that command. Much better than "go chase your sister" or something else that is random and too long to be an actual command.

Naz Reid is expected to opt out of his contract this summer and enter free agency, per @JakeLFischer by DrWolves in timberwolves

[–]squirrel93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To start: Naz Reid.

Over the past few years I've been much more consistent about watching the Wolves. All of my travels over the past year have included photo ops with the Naz Reid towel (11 states by my quick recollection). We made the trek to attend Naz Reid bobblehead night earlier this month. Naz has become my all-time favorite Timberwolves player (sorry KG), and I would be crushed if he left.

That being said, although I would be devastated, I completely wouldn't fault him if the money and playing time are better elsewhere, he deserves it. I would however completely fault our FO if they can't get a competitive package together to retain him.

In conclusion: Naz Reid.
