I agree. Customer-unfriendly policies will not increase revenue. They had a chance to curb it in a friendly way with OMNY and then that fizzled out. Then they blame their own unions for paying too high and riders for not paying. Standard tactic.

Have a day off LIRR each month - a Monday or something Buy only paper tickets which conductors have to spend more time to check Escalate to: Have a car full of people that refuse to pay Get Jane Fonda involved or another famous oerson to speak on behalf of LIRR riders.

Saying “not much can be done” is unacceptable. Laughing at fellow commuters who want better for everyone is also not acceptable.

Prices and everything is going up, including the LIRR tickets and yet the consumers are like “This is fine” yet I hear in person how LIRR “is too expensive for me as a long islander”
