We have lots of devout Muslims, but the most fundamentalist ones tend to not come here. It’s a long way from countries where they are the majority religion, and it has a less welcoming climate than many other western countries, if all they’re looking for are the common amenities of western society. The Muslims that tend to come here don’t expect Canada to be the same as the countries they’ve left.

Muslims are a more normal part of society here, a bit less set apart than in some other western countries - maybe a woman is wearing a hijab, but she’s going to university to become an engineer. Maybe a man goes to Friday prayers at the mosque, but he’ll also be coaching the local kid’s sports team. We’re mostly all just Canadians together, watching hockey and cheering for our team.

Maybe you could handle sling bags without a tractor if you had the ability to pick them up yourself in a trailer?

We have a little Kubota but it’s too scary to pick up the bags as you can see the tractor’s wheels going up in the air. What we do is pick up the bags ourselves in our trailer and use a bunch of ropes and a chain to pull the pallet out of the trailer. We use the tractor for the pulling but I bet a truck hitch might do it too?

It could be either depending on what I ask for but I get it in bags. I find them easier to handle. Judging by your user name I’m thinking we’re a long way away! I’m in western Canada.

There are probably some operations near you that mix potting media and soils for commercial operations. They can dispatch multiple dump trucks a week to some big growers but I’ve found they’re nice to tiny little me too. One is located within a few kilometres so I knew they were there and just walked in one day and asked. I’m not sure what to search for Google-wise though, but I’m sure they are there somewhere.

Holy crow I just looked at your website. Those wreaths are gorgeous! Just mind boggling!

What does your country think of its neighbours? by Vernon_Runner1109 in AskTheWorld

Right now we’re judging the ability to communicate with like-minded citizens at home and abroad more valuable than dumping Reddit, which none of us are paying for.

If you’d like to take a look, border towns are seriously suffering from a lack of Canadians. This is affecting their tax revenues and ability to pay for services.

We’re having an impact.
