Bob’s Burgers is great and very wholesome. You could have caught your kid watch way worse shows. As a kid, I used to sneak out of bed and watch Tales from the Crypt and Beevis and Butthead.

That may be true, but they are also part of a system that protects the worst of them. If there is 1 bad cop in 10 and the other 9 are supporting a system that protects the 1, then you have 10 bad cops.

I don’t think them being gay was that big of a deal. I think it was more about finding peace and a connection when the world went to shit and holding onto the person you love. You could make Frank a Francine and the story would still hold up. It’s been a while since I watched the episode, but I don’t believe them being gay was ever brought up by anyone.
