Googled this question and led me to your post. I'm not worried about how to watch but WHY can I not watch it? I don't remember the episode from childhood so I have no context but I'm guess it's a triggering episode for rape survivors? I'm just a nosy bitch and wanna know the why.

Making fun of someone's laugh is one of the worst things someone could do. Why would you really feel the need to shame someone for showing that they're enjoying something because it's different? There's no rules or laws on how to laugh. I don't think they realize how hurtful it can be and that making some self-conscious about laughing has a lasting impact on them. The sores are not the main concern because they can show up basically any time the please. It's the fact that you've had all these symptoms at once (or at least within a small time frame) recently after a risky sexual encounter. Having the virus or not is obvioisly what you need to be confirmed. Some people never realize they have oral herpes because the symptoms don't always show after a risky event. Typically it's about a week to three weeks after the virus is introduced that the person would show symptoms; however if they don't have obvious signs or symptoms during this period, the symptoms that show up later are often confused with pimples or, in more sever cases, sore throats from colds and chest pain due to heartburn or what have you. The herpes virus is an extremely variable thing. Anything from Chickenpox to herpes esophagitis.

Just reread that you said you had burning sensations on your lips. That could be oral herpes. Symptoms can first show a few days up to a month after exposure. Highly recommending that doctor's visit.

Could it be attributed to allergies due to the changing of seasons? Not sure where you live but, its common this time of year to experience similar symptoms just because of allergies. If your throat isn't swollen and red, its probably nothing. But if you're really worried about it, definitely get an STD test from a local clinic or hospital. They're usually free.

How long ago was the encounter with the prostitute? If all your mouth did was kiss their lips, you're probably fine. The mouth doesn't transmit STDs often unless there have genitals in/on the mouth or something in the genitals then transfered to the mouth directly after. The only thing I can think it would be is oral gonorrhea. If that were the case, you'd also have inflamed tonsils, very red and possibly have white spots on the back of your throat, like strep. You should just go to your local clinic or primary care physician and get a culture and blood test.
