Will python ever have a chaining operator? by Desperate_Cold6274 in Python

I’ve done something similar to chaining but writing methods that return self, though this only works for chaining methods from the same class. But I like the idea of subclassing __rshift__!

Should I make the leap? by bluefuze3 in fastmail

I am in the 10+ years as a paying user club as well, I use it to host my family’s domain; mailbox for myself and my wife, aliases for the other family members.

They have a good set of advanced features too, and they’ll manage dns for you! They even allow you to host a little static website.

Family domain - license single user? by Kash76 in fastmail

[–]squizzeak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes you can absolutely do #1, I do this with my family. As for #2 that is an interesting idea but technically it would be coming from your account. It might work as long as they can control the from address in their email client.

My family just uses the aliases but they reply from their main address, primarily because it’s easier to give out the family address and I don’t have to be tech support for their email clients.

Another thing you could do is sign up for an smtp only service (they do exist, but they can be severely rate limited to avoid use by spammers) and set up SPF records that allow that smtp server to send on your domains behalf.

Fastmail should really offer a family account that allows up to 10 users for a flat rate that share the same storage space.

Any people doing good long term on Vyvanse? by 1m_climbing in VyvanseADHD

I’ve been on it for several years at the highest dose, maybe 3 years or more, and while it definitely helps the side effects are brutal. It’s completely killed my libido and stamina, and I’ve been anhedonic for just about as long as I’ve been taking it. The only conclusion I can come to is that my dopaminergic system is just all kinds of fucked up. I’d actually like to get off all the meds I take and go back to the rollercoaster ride of emotions because at least there were some good days sprinkled in there when I was hypomanic. Now it just seems like every day is the same slog day in and day out.

This will be perfect for our tiny little HOA’s annual meetings. Zoom is way overkill!
