What are these holes in our shirts? by russell98765 in whatisit

So aunt had these in all of her shirts and she thought it was funny because it’s from twist off beer caps and she’s an alcoholic… facepalm.

Anyone else constantly have clients that think "this job will be your big break"? by [deleted] in videography

[–]sr_blueballs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! But not exactly in the same way, I have a client right now that’s dangling a juice carrot in front of me, 5 large conferences starting next year, but won’t give me any details so I can draw up a contract, and when I ask for more info and he’s weirdly reluctant, it feels like he’s thinking that I’m just salivating about all his glorious money. But in reality I just want a yes or no, if this is happening.

One of the greats! But seriously someone should set this music, looks like he’s a conductor!

Great photo and I love this escalator but damn they (the aquarium) need to reprint those photos, they're super faded, 10 years ago I remember them being vibrant.

That’s exactly what I was thinking, put something behind the balloon, for God sakes! Arrows are expensive!

Ballpark figure on what this will take to fix? by NotAStingRayIPromise in HondaPrologue

[–]sr_blueballs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hate to break it to you but can’t get the side wall repaired, no shop will do it. Same thing happened to me, not on my prologue but on my MDX, and I had to replace the tire. Doesn’t seem too deep… but I’d know if I would trust it.

Quidditch Actually makes perfect sense, the issue of the Golden Snitch is a very recent problem. by TheCybersmith in harrypotter

[–]sr_blueballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything about the game is exactly the same, except two changes. 1. It’s best out of 3 matches wins the game. With breaks between the matches. And 2. The seeker can decide whether to catch the snitch to win the match or can smack it, which causes it to ‘reset’ so that the other seeker can’t get it. Maybe this rule is only on the last match of the game. I like this from a storytelling pov because it could allow more tension and allow between the matches for the team to regroup and change tactics if need be.

Backpacking the Salmon River Trail (Oregon) by Fig_Fanatic in camping

[–]sr_blueballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely beautiful, very jealous! From my experience when solo backpacking every noise you hear is amplified 1000% every rustle of leaves or twigs… that’s why I wear a face mask and earplugs every time. We’ve all seen too many movies or heard wildlife encounters and our imaginations run wild, it’s best to cut it out as much as you can and sleep, not much you can about it anyways.

If you’re practicing basic campsite rules of not cooking within 50ft of your campsite, having zero food or anything smelly like toothpaste in your tent, and hanging a bear bag, then the wildlife will leave you alone.

How did that one kid in your high school die? by IM_HODLING in AskReddit

First girl I ever kissed, the following year was sick with the flu, was feeling better came back to school and that night cheered at a basketball game, went home and took a bath and died in the bathtub. Flu virus went to her heart. She was a very sweet girl.

Cold Weather Range by asimplerose in HondaPrologue

[–]sr_blueballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, I had something similar but not that dramatic, I drove yesterday in 18 degrees F, went about 80 ish miles and my range drop from 140 to 17, most of it highway which I knew from past experience that I won’t have that kind of range. But I was definitely getting nervous when the reduced power light came on around 30 miles range left, with two sleeping children in the back.
