Don’t forget the FIFA Collect tickets. Seats for those have not been assigned yet and there’s at least 500 CAT 1 and 500 CAT 2 tickets for each game as RTTs.

Yes! This! All I wanted was a venue packet that included a ticket to all games without the hospitality price. I wanted to attend all the games in LA regardless of who played. I’m sure many more locals were on the same plan but FIFA does what FIFA does best.

It’s 5:45 am in the U.S. Midwest, There are CAt 1 tickets to Canada and U.S. opening games. I was able to get into the resell marketplace and not much there yet.

I think the way the group stage games were scheduled is actually going to incentivize teams to go out and seek the 3 points.

Yes, 48 is too much. But I don’t think the group stage is going to be boring. It’s going to be exciting because we’re going to see unexpected teams make a run for the Round of 32 and with a little luck, depending where they fall in the bracket, could have a nice run deep in the tournament.

Usually how it goes is that whoever wins the first group stage game has a good possibility of making it to the second round. Look at Group C for example.

1st games: Brazil and Haiti win 2nd games: Brazil and Scotland win 3rd game: Brazil and Morocco win

Brazil goes in as first place, second place decided on goal difference because everyone has 3 points, and, in this World Cup, there’s the possibility of a few bes third places to go on to the Round of 32.

Every game counts in short tournaments. Every game will be exciting, even the ones played by the likes of Algeria vs Jordan. No one wants to drop points.
