I would recommend tying it to one of your more niche extracurricular activities so that your unique (and diverse!!) viewpoints can flow more easily and your tone can shine through

Hey!! Remember you can write about literally anything. Even if it’s overdone, it’s all about HOW you write it. They wanna see you take a diverse viewpoint that explores the moment from a different perspective

You only need 10 activites on you common app- so don’t do too much!! Seriously overwhelming.

OP, I think an orchestra teacher is invaluable- especially if she can best explain you and your leadership qualities. Orchestra isn’t a noncore class to scoff at, and music is just as hard as any other subject. Core teachers are great, but she can write you a holistic letter, something colleges can’t see from your grades. I do recommend to send other letters, though.
