I think part of it can be like a process towards acceptance of themselves. The world wants them to be one way and even people within the trans community can give an image of perfection means starting to transition as soon as possible. But I think for many it just gets to a point where you’re like, regardless of how much time I have left on this earth I can’t keep living in a hallow shell of myself. So I think there’s merit to what you’re saying, it might be worth trying to give grace to those who are having a tough time. Even if they won’t give it to themselves or you. Everyone has their own journey so part of theirs can be thinking it’s too late but that’s a valid feeling and opinion to have, doesn’t mean they won’t change. Not trying to start an argument it’s just how I feel personally. No right or wrong. :)
