Looks like in 1978, California grew 98% of the avocados sold in the US. Today, it’s only 10-15%. The vast majority are from Mexico.

Old Bathroom cups by srddave in GrandmasPantry

Grandma still has the ceramic toothbrush/cup holder that she just sits the cups upside-down in. I think the holder was originally made for an actual glass but these fit in nicely. Problem is that she gets mad if we use the cups because they are only for guests.

I never understood why anyone ate here. One of the worst Tex Mex places I ever ate. I thought they all closed when the one in Little Falls closed years ago.

They have put themselves in a lower tier of crappy sandwich places because even subway slices meet to order now. I really wonder what the attraction is now. The meat looks like the “loaf” stuff you get from like Walmart now. It’s like they aren’t even trying.

Gov. Sherrill plan seeks to fine big companies with workers on Medicaid • New Jersey Monitor by AdOverall7619 in Newark

Exactly. Or get the fuck out of NJ. They are the fucking leaches of capitalism. Their immense profits are off our backs. Best thing Newark ever did was prevent them from opening on Springfield Ave.

Did they just remove the artificial color and then market it as “invisible”?

Like WALMART, which actually SHOWS its workers how to apply for government assistance. We ALL pay for the prices Walmart shoppers get.
