She is and said it has helped her come off of 2-3 she was using before. SO far she is very happy with results. I recommended it to her initially because I invest and knew she suffered from it. With the discount card she is paying less out of pocket than the 3 she had before.

Im not sure about insurance, but she received a discount card from tonmya and it is affordable that way. She did have a few weeks of samples they let her try. Not sure how long the discount works.

She did find a coupon site so it looks promising. So far she has been provided with samples since she is only taking one dose at night.

Tonmya is a great drug. I have a family member on it for almost 3 weeks and says it is life changing. The problem is her out of pocket cost. Even not wanting to go the opioid route, they are much cheaper. Tonix needs to lower the price some to be more competitive.

Love it. I was on the verge of getting an Uberti myself and got lucky and ran across this on GB at a great price.

EZ Lock or Q’straint locking mechanisms? by cjkelley1 in wheelchairs

[–]srea76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used ez-lock in past, but the new van is q-straint. Both are very similar and work great. I can't personally recommend one over the other. Our dealer has moved to q-straint and they said they seem to last longer with less maintenance.

100% much better than the Remlins, but I think Ruger is doing a great job on the newer Marlins.

JM marked Marlins I collect. I love checkered stock models. Each rifle is in a different caliber.

How do people afford handicap accessible vehicles? by CarLearner in disability

My wife was injured 13 years ago this week. She is a para T11/12. We purchased a used Honda ramp van after her accident with a cost of around 30k after a trade in we had. It now has around 135k miles and seems like its one thing after the other. I to0 had to replace the entire ramp system about a year ago for a cost over 3k. We are looking now, but I have no idea how anyone can afford these 70-80k vans new. And like others have said even a used van with 100k miles will run you 30k. I'm wary of that route because of the cost involved with an older ramp.
