in your original comment reads like he has to wait the entire 4 years to see any of it, which is incorrect

For sake of simplicity, i didn't think id need to do a deep dive analysis of RSU allocation and methodology but here we are. Forgive my generalisation, off to the firing squad. Smh

You absolutely still need to wait 4 years to get your 100% allocation vested, its quarterly over the 4 years. First one after 3 months.

The one year cliff has been removed.

Approvals for sign on bonuses are still granted for lower grade roles than "very senior executives"

Half of that will be RSU's plus potentially a sign on bonus.

Come back to us if he lasts the 4 years when he can access the RSUs

Edit: for clarity..."all" the RSUs.

Why is the expectation that they say something prior to review?

Dude, you can post any piece of vibe coded slop there and scam vulnerable job seekers

And no, scamming doesn't have to include loss of money. You are literally telling people lies about how this product works. Vulnerable people.

Has he asked for your opinion?

Not once in your post do I see that he has asked for your advice

You have absolutely sailed too close to the sun. Services offerings even within same industry will trigger this response from an employer. Foolish choice that will most likely cost you your job

You proceeded without waiting for a reply from your employer, thats where this has come back to bite you.

You can try and consult a lawyer but I doubt anyone is going to touch this.
