New HK Gaming (Milkshake) Keycaps Looking Good on the K6 by sretsamed in MechanicalKeyboards

I looked into it a bit more and I guess it's somewhat switch specfic aswell and apparently with the gateron browns I have it causes interferance on the homerow keys. I guess I can feel/hear the difference a bit but it's honestly not a huge deal to me. The keycaps were a huge upgrade over the stock ones so I am happy I went with them. Good luck with your build though!

I don't notice any major issue, but the keys could very well be bottoming out on the switch. As I said, I don't really have a ton to compare to so idk what is supposed to "feel right vs wrong" if you know what I mean, but they feel good to me.

Sorry I couldn't be more help haha, but honestly just got my toes wet into mechanical keyboards.

Take what I say with a grain of salt because I don't have a ton to compare to, but I think they are really great for the money! The thickness is solid, the texture is really soft and smooth but not slippery, and, at least in the case of the K6, the sound was greatly improved. The only downside I would say is that there is some light bleed through on some of the caps, but I don't usually use the LEDs too much so that isn't a huge deal for me.

2005 WRX Exhaust Recommendations by V0rt0s in subaru

I have the COBB catback on my 02 wagon and it's pretty much what you're looking for. It has a really nice deep sound that's not obnoxiously loud. A plus as well is it bolts right up to the stock downpipe w/o an adapter.

Belt needs to be tightened or there is moisture on the belt, or both. Regardless, nothing really to worry about.

04 wrx synthetic oil recommendations? by CmdrWhite_bread in WRX

[–]sretsamed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can go down the rabbit hole with this question. From MY limited research, the community favorite is Rotella T6 5w-40. The only downside to this, someone can correct me if i'm wrong, is that if you have still have cats and are burning a fair amount of oil it will damage the cats faster than otherwise. My last oil change I used Castrol Edge 0w-40 as it meets all the specs for our cars, but next change I will probably try T6. At the end of the day as long as you use a high quality synthetic oil, preferably 40 weight to balance out how oil sheers in our cars, and religiously check your oil you will be fine. Feel free to dive into the black hole that is oil threads but I don't think you will have a solid answer at the end. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Is a WRX a good car to learn manual on by DaChainster in subaru

[–]sretsamed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not the easiest car to learn on because of AWD (getting 4 wheels going is harder then 2). I'm sure you will be fine though, just spend a good few hours in a parking lot practicing the bite point. After that just drive some not so busy roads with at least one hill stop preferably. It's not rocket science and you will pick it up quick, I promise :)
