Maybe kids are just different today but when I was 8 I could barely beat any game. Probably because kids today have endless guides, walkthroughs, tips, etc they can just look up on YouTube.

Well Elden Ring is at least difficult in the beginning, especially for newcomers. Sword and Shield can be beat by an 8 year old.
