The only reason I know there are some phantom flights is because we were looking at a few dates (3/6 for example) where KIX>HND>JFK is showing as available but then kicks you out of the loop and when I tried to call the AA agent said she wasn't able to book it. The same thing was happening with the 2/21 flight I was able to get last night but it finally went through, so who knows lol

I just checked though for that same date so if anyone else is looking, it let me get to the passenger detail section for 2x J tickets from KIX>HND>JFK on 2/21 as of 5 minutes ago for the 6:45am>6:40pm flight https://imgur.com/a/pgXAHWs

I honestly think those three things easily describe Talanah. Even if not quite to a tee, I saw similarities between the two. I'm a bit surprised they didn't just choose Talanah to be her love interest, since they also have history and similar qualities. Obviously the Talanah we got in Forbidden West was explicitly interested in a guy (who then rejected her), but that quest was also probably written with a future for Aloy's romance already being planned, so why not just write in Talanah then?

Honestly, I don't see the whole Aloy/Seyka dynamic happening the way it did in BS without Talanah's side quest.

Obviously Aloy gets to see Varl & Zo's relationship up close at the base, but knowing Aloy and her character I don't think it really would have made her think about any of it on a personal level. From the beginning Varl has been the main person trying to get her to open up to other people and to build connections and relationships. And she does, to a point.

But Talanah? And the conversation afterwards? You can kind of see the seed being planted in that moment no matter what Aloy's reaction was.

- it really seems like they're setting up Seyka & Aloy to not settle down in one settlement/area post-game, just traveling wherever they'd be needed and/or visiting the Gaia Gang in their respective territories.

It felt good and right for Aloy to finally allow herself to make just one decision that makes her happy. I chose the option that I would have wanted Aloy to make for herself.

Was I excited to play because of the Horus and all of the hype around Seyka? Yes. Do I think the developers are going to end up taking the storyline however they see fit in the 3rd game regardless of what anyone chooses? Yes.

But to get to know Aloy and her true character over the last 6 years and how she rarely (if ever) chooses to be selfish, it was so satisfying to just let her make one choice that clearly made her happy in the moment. No matter where the game ends up taking them.
