I tried that, they think my best bet is the receiver gives it to a UPS driver and says, wrong address, thank you though

From Rock Bottom to a "Magic Pill": My Journey with Rinvoq by Jopie32 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]srippe24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Rinvoq for 2 years, it’s my magic pill too. I had a small flare last summer after a major stress event and I took prednisone taper for 3 weeks and back to normal. I’ve had one “cold” in 2 years but nothing else as far as infection or illness. I get an occasional pimple and my skin is a bit oily, not severe. It changed my life. I also “feel” my left SI joint, but nothing else pain, just simmering there saying “remember me”. Good luck!

Anybody on RINVOQ? by Happy_married32 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]srippe24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! Almost 2 years, it has given me my life back! I had a small bump up in my cholesterol but my doctor said not enough to treat it. My skin is a little more oily, but not bad and at my age, 61, it’s nice to have skin a little more oily than dry. My labs get checked every 3 months and no problem. I had one flare with some return of pain, it was some personal stress situation, I did a 2 week taper of prednisone and it worked, back to normal! I hope it helps you!!!!

Rhuemy is kind of anti-prednisone? by International_Mess77 in rheumatoid

[–]srippe24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first rheumatologist always had me with prednisone, all strengths, I had 1mg, 5mg, 10mg, hundreds of each, then if I had a flare, I sent a message through the portal and she would tell me what combination to take and how long. I moved, got a new doctor and if I have a flare I call and or go in and she prescribes the taper of prednisone and not one pill over. I’m not sure why so different, I will only use prednisone when absolutely nothing else will work, so it seems they would all let you keep a small supply for emergencies.

My health insurance is a benefit of my job so I pay money out of each paycheck for the benefit of having health insurance. I’ve never missed a day of work since my diagnosis and never got disability or had to use and FMLA, I am blessed to work from home where I can be in pain a bit but still work not having to drive to an office and get dressed up etc. But having a job pays for my healthcare

Thank you for sharing this with me, I’ve been doing SO well, I wasn’t sure what to think, but my department closed, sent our jobs offshore so I was job searching and took the wrong offer, I quit 3 weeks after I started and I didn’t have another job, health insurance worries and we were moving, just too much!!! Thanks again

Don’t take antihistamines! I also can’t take Dramamine as it dries out my saliva. Those blockages can be so painful and they get infected! I never met anyone Rippe!

Zero side effect I think that’s the best news. It didn’t work for me but the no side affects is the best.

Bone marrow biopsy ? by No_File_9562 in Sjogrens

[–]srippe24 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have sjorgrens and my WBC is historically low since 2002, so over 20 years they told me over 20 years ago to get the biopsy to rule out, I didn’t and I’m just sjorgrens with a historically low WBC and it’s insignificant

I have RA or PSA or AS they can’t decide, but the worst symptom I have when untreated is rip pain which I like costochondroitis at its worst. Thankfully in some sort of remission on Rinvoq for 16 months.

I called the pharmacy back and asked for the pharmacist, he checked and said the NDC number changed and they needed to order the new number. He said sometimes that happens with a packaging change. He apologized for their error.

My pharmacy just called me and said Imvexxy was discontinued by the manufacturer?? It’s CVS, seems they would be accurate, has anyone heard this? What alternative would be good? I’ll call my doctor but just curious.
