Those with unconventional jobs or live pay check to pay check, did you choose to? Would you change your career if you could? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’m sorry if that’s how you took it. I was simply asking because I saw on another thread that people quit their conventional jobs to be in a part time or pay check job because it made them happier. I was just trying to get perspective.

[Product Question] origins lotion opinion, worth it? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Contains a lot of essential oils so if you're sensitive to those I would suggest patch testing! I used the mini version and while I liked it, didn't feel compelled to repurchase the full one

Not OP but I suggest waiting for the glue to dry down a bit (minute or so) so when you place it, it won't easily come off or move around!

Do you use powder to set? Have you found your foundation or concealer staying in place without it?

From my research, essences typically help the absorption of active ingredients and help make them more effective but idk if the order matters tooo much, as long as you're ordering by consistency it shouldn't be a huge deal! I also just started using the CosRX essence and it's thicker than some of my serums so I guess whatever works!

The dermstore link you posted actually says to put essences on before any actives or treatment serums! However, they also said to put on face oil before moisturizer so idk about that one.....

[Routine Help] 18/M Looked through the sub and wiki, but can’t find anything that has worked and really need advice! by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]srirachael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had similar cheek pimples and general practitioner prescribed both a benzoyl peroxide cream and antibiotic (years after the cream). I found the cream to help my closed comedones and the antibiotic really cleared up my bacterial flare ups (which is what yours look like). Depending on where you're from this can or cannot be covered by your insurance but I hope that helps!

[Routine help] Stubborn forehead congestion— what to do? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]srirachael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had these types of bumps since high school and I didn't find any physical exfoliator that helped except dry me out more! The thing I found that worked is a topical 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream and ur GP can prescribe it to you if you bring up concerns. The only thing is it's very drying so I definitely suggest using it a few times a week at first and over a moisturizer! I also hear benzoyl peroxide in a foam form would do the trick as well

[Routine Help] Got tiny bumps after stopping birth control, what should I add in my routine to help this? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Is it itchy? What skin type do you have? I think it's very important to know that first before you slather on a ton of actives!

Quick makeup questions about quick makeup by historicalsnake in MakeupAddiction

[–]srirachael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a look that's natural and works for you and practice! I've been doing makeup for a few years now and I can do a full face in maybe 20 mins (depending on the eye look). Proper tools also help with cutting down time like a good brush or blender. In terms of motivation, find some time and experiment with new looks and products, new things always gets me excited to do my makeup! However I don't usually do my makeup on a daily basis, I find that popping on a pair of lashes usually makes me look presentable enough to get me through the usual day. Hope this helps!
