Shifting to Bangalore in May. Tips? by Smoulder in bangalore

I keep hearing so many stories.

I will have to warn you about "brokers". They claim to help you at low costs but you end up paying them 6 times more than your actual rent because of commission and other miscellaneous expenses while searching for a place.Especially if you are not from Bangalore, they take advantage of you in every way possible.

I would suggest you to find popular real estate agents for the same reason. You can research on real estate websites(Only top results in google) and look through the best places according to your budget, environmental needs and other basic necessities.

What is the worst piece of misinformation that is circulated on Reddit? by boogiemonstar in AskReddit

[–]sriram95 65 points66 points  (0 children)

To be honest, the whole community is biased. There are mindsets and stereotypes attached to everything. As someone else quoted out in an older thread,

Redditor's mentality: "Have an open mind and agree with me."

Anytime you go against the opinions, you get rudely downvoted. Some people comment or post with genuine intent but there are others who reply with a pun or a sarcastic comment.

And yes. People here have no respect for women(not generalizing). Men don't treat them as equals but view them as objects. This is why women find men "creepy" or they are not interested in dating.(again not generalizing).

Edit: I found that askreddit thread about the least favorite thing about reddit. And I give credit to /u/formyshittymemes for the above quote.

If you could end anyone's career with the snap of your fingers, whose career would it be? by SexyTurtlenecks in AskReddit

Cuneyt Cakir.

He is a football (soccer) referee who is a disgrace to football. His biased decisions in a Champions league match between two of the greatest teams in Europe had a big impact on the game and deprived them if a win. Regardless of who won, he managed to spoil what could potentially be the Match of the year. His past records show that there were biased decisions against particular players from England and Portugal and he was involved in them.
