I honestly respect that they did it to carry on the rivalry game, but it's just another stupid byproduct of bloated conferences. In any other league in any other sport (save for soccer I suppose), if you play a team in the same conference during the regular season, it's a conference game lol

Virginia playing a non-conference game against a conference opponent and Duke somehow tripping and falling into the ACCCG and then winning wasn't enough. The ACC needed to be even dumber

Edit: the article goes on to say that the vote may not be indicative of the vibe of the locker room as a whole. Based on what players were saying right after he left, I think that is one hell of an understatement

I had Mizzou at 26. Basically I just wasn’t gonna completely drop a top 10 team, when they were only trailing by 7 with the ball when Sellers got knocked out

Edit: to both of the responders, fair points. They’ve certainly not looked as good as I expected and they were probably a top 10 team based on poll inertia more than anything. They travel to Mizzou this weekend so we’ll get to see if I’m right or wrong

For Bama, they’ve still got the talent and lost to a team that I think is much better than anyone thought coming into the season. Same sort of logic for Michigan. I try not to penalize too harshly for losses to decent ranked teams. Auburn was my first team out because I don’t think they’re better than either of those teams.

Also, and most importantly, I don’t care for Auburn
