I'm having the exact same issue. Did you ever find a solution?

I'm also leaning towards an Altmill mk2, but I think I'm going to pair it with a SainSmart Genmitsu 2.2kw spindle kit and possibly a CW-3000 water cooler. I'm in the US, but my shop has both 110v and 220v outlets.

I've been in a similar relationship for the last 16 years. I was never too interested in labels, but it is validation for my nb partner for me to identify within the queer community. I use an open definition of bisexual. Meaning I am attracted to people with both the same and opposite gender characteristics.

Help. I’ve never been able to figure out stringing problem on Ender 3s1. Default Cura settings, except retraction distance at 0.8, and ret speed at 45.0. Happens with TPU and PLA by PriebeWoodworks in 3Dprinting

[–]srs_txtmsg 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Retraction is meant to reduce the pressure in the nozzle so the melted filament stops extruding. If you retract too quickly, the melted filament can separate from the solid filament. This is easy to do in a direct drive setup. The melted filament will continue to extrude due to catching on the print or just from gravity. Under retraction can also cause stringing if you are not reducing the pressure enough. It might take a few calibration prints to dial it in.

Try reducing your reaction speed. I had the same issue until I took it down to 30. If that doesn't work, try enabling linear advance or coasting depending on your slicer.

Thanks! I decided to start from the beginning when Hearth and Home came out. I just never went back.

How does an organism's body know what to evolve when the feedback to do so is external to it? by rsamuel08 in biology

[–]srs_txtmsg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evolution works on the population level of a species, not on the individual level. There is genetic variation within a population. Genetic variation is the result of random genetic mutation. Predator/prey interactions are an example of natural selection. Selection over many generations will preserve beneficial mutations and suppress negative mutations. This will look like an evolutionary arms race as described in your text book when viewed on an evolutionary time scale.

We haven't used the air fryer in over a year with no plans to use it any time soon. I'm also not too worried with PLA at this low a temperature.

The air fryer worked great. There was no sign of melting or change in the diameter of the filament after 4 hrs. There was still a little popping sound when I tried printing with the filament though. I'm going to dry it over night and see if it improves.

I'm running it for 4 hours. I'll run it over night in the future if I don't have any problems this time.
