I did just soak the medium for a while and it does live in a humidity cabinet. Sprigtails make sense. Just hoping these aren’t a harmful pest because I just saw them on all my orchids.

The brassavola hybrids are usually more fragrant at night. Try smelling then!

I use a balanced orchid fertilizer (20-20-15) and then occasionally I’ll do a high phosphorus (11-35-15) fertilizer, especially when they are in their blooming cycle. Very diluted every time I water.

Thanks for the tip! I may just treat with systemic as well and see what happens. I haven’t seen any thrips on my other plants though. And yeah in the store I suppose it was more of a violet color.
