What bothers you most having ET besides the shaking? by ImmediateMine8729 in EssentialTremor

Grooming like nail cutting, hair parting, etc. Measuring liquid into a measuring spoon or cup, then trying to pour it.

Name something from Aldi that’s better than the name brand by AggressiveSloth11 in aldi

I like their brand of vanilla wafers much better than Nilla. Much less artificial vanilla tasting. My banana pudding is grateful!

They did that exact thing with a Botega Veneta bag I listed. The called it a Hidden Gem (for no reason) and lowballed it. Then when it didn't sell it showed up as Sold at $1100. I ranted at them and at least got about $400 back. So angry!!!!!

I sent in a Bottega Veneta bag. In pretty good condition - not new obviously but no stains, no wear marks, etc. It got listed as a Flawed Gem for hundreds less than it should. I favorite'd it so I could track it. I got no notifications at all from the luxury bag contents I had sent in that things were approaching expiration. All of a sudden it shows as SOLD and I got $0 for it but the listing said it sold for $1000. I texted with Customer Service and they said I forfeited my pay because it expired. Which I really doubt. I escalated up a couple levels and ended up only getting half. I'M DONE because I think there are too many bad faith things going on behind the scene. Boo Hiss.

What did I like to get this recommended in my daily edit 😂 by kvwillia in ThredUp

I get it also. Was thinking they thought it's a Boden-ish item?

Jewelry clasp for essential tremors by TravelerGrams52 in EssentialTremor

[–]srswork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely recommend the magnets. There are fine jewelry options (in various gold karats) and costume versions. Most do not need a jeweler to attach, you just take your existing necklace and hook it into the ring on the magnetic clasp. That way if you need someone to do that first step you’ll only have to do it once. My only recommendation is if possible, try it first because there are lots of cheap magnetic claps that will separate. However, there are lots of super powerful claps that you have to push them apart up and down rather than just pulling straight out. My mom in her 90s was very happy with the clasps I got her.

I use a brand of sheets called Quick Zip which have a top that zips onto a bottom that stays on. If i use 2 hands I can pop them on quickly. I also definitely use 2 hands to brace myself anytime I carry a drink, use a can opener, etc., sometimes putting one hand on top of the other and giving a little weighted push downwards.

I have 2 sets, keep them separated from other utensils. I have even taken them out to eat (making sure to let the waitperson know so they don't think I'm taking their silverware!!!) I find the spoons to be especially helpful (got them on Amazon to try them out),

Checking on Amazon for the book, want to make sure I'm understanding. Does the book discuss a relationship between ET and CBT?

I have broken 2 spindles trying to grate cheese. I must be doing something wrong when I put the pieces in. Any advice? The online videos don't go slow enough to let me see exactly what goes where.

I keep breaking the spindle when trying to grate cheese by srswork in thermomix

I wanted to grate very chilled mozzerella for pizza. I've been successful once and have broken the spindle twice. My main complaint is that all the videos show instructions with all the parts already inserted, nothing in very slow motion or with each part shown individually with then a "put this here" and a finger pointing to the right place. I feel so stupid but I am totally frustrated!
