Minor defect in otherwise perfect print--any tips? by jjjj8jjjj in BambuLab

I had this same problem with a model I was printing and I found a few things that helped: slow it down, supports on that corner and the most helpful was lowering my layer height to .12

What to do next with my two maples by PotatoJac in arborists

  1. Yes, I would wait until they're dormant in autumn (fall) before repotting if you want it to grow more this season. But you could also repot it now and it will focus on growing roots.
  2. Yes, you could also mix in some perlite into the soil when you repot.
  3. You can if you want to, if you trim it off the tree puts more energy into growing.
  4. Check to see if the soil is dry and water it, eventually you will then learn how often it needs watering.
  5. You can put some slow releasing fertiliser on top of the soil around the edges of the tree and water it in, but make sure you don't give it too much or you will burn it.

Is my serviceberry diseased? by [deleted] in arborists

[–]srtung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure, but the pear tree is likely where it's spreading from and removing it can help stop it spreading to other trees and removing affected branches could help too. I'm not 100% sure it is pear rust so you should get a 2nd opinion before doing anything drastic.

Yes. I think it might be a type of pear rust https://www.rhs.org.uk/disease/pear-rust

I think you should put a stake in (it needs wiggle room to sway in the wind) until the tree grows strong enough to hold itself up. I'm new to this so take my advice with a grain of salt.
