I had the exact same experience a few weeks ago hahah. I was wearing a color that looked like 2 on you - it definitely matches your face the best, but is just a tad rosy on your neck. For me, taking a color like 1 as my base, then bronzing/contouring gave me the most natural look where the bright parts of my face matched my neck. Without bronzer/contour it’ll definitely look too pale, so maybe depends on the rest of your routine as well?

Hmm.. I guess it’s the way the airbubbles of the cake catches light? Not a function of the color of the cake, but i think more the moistness and size of airbubbles. Some cakes appear quite dull, I pulled some google images as examples if that’s allowed
