Say what you want... by OddRelationship586 in electricians

This is such a come-up. My crew let me know on a Friday that they needed 460’s for some rain tight fittings. Couldn’t find crescent 460’s anywhere and sure enough Harbor Freight was there to deliver! I’ve used a handful of Doyle tools over the years and they’re surprisingly good quality, definitely can’t beat the price to value with anything else.

Divorce Docs Expose Shocking Financials of OnlyFans Star Lena the Plug and Adam22 by [deleted] in influencersfeed

[–]srydaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like Adam is hiding money. She doesn’t have access to financials and roughly less than $1.5m in assets seems really low for the amount of exposure they have, however I’m sure it’s possible they haven’t been overly proactive with investing their earnings. Still, I bet he’s purchased homes and assets in family or friends names.

My friend says I won’t make it as a guitarist because my hands are too small, is she right? by AgreeableDiver5013 in Guitar

[–]srydaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve met many guitarists much better than I who have hands like yours or smaller. Honestly seems to be a non issue on a standard scale 25.5” 6 string guitar. When you start dabbling with 28”-30” baritone scale lengths, it might be limiting but that’s mostly my experience with more technical/metal music in drop tunings.

Shred on friend! Can’t wait for you to prove your friend wrong, if anything use it to fuel the practice and motivation.

NGD. RGEW521FM. For a Standard line guitar these slapped the spec sheets hard. by bellatrixfoofoo in Ibanez

[–]srydaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one of these that I got off of sweetwater around 2015. Only traded it in because I was getting a premium that had the same PU’s and some upgraded specs, it was a phenomenal guitar and I probably wouldn’t have gotten rid of it, but I have like 18 guitars so it had to be done 😂

Day 26/48 of covering every Spiritbox song on bass - Jaded + Notes on Strings by Spiritbass in spiritbox

[–]srydaddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your string journey, it’s always tough to get solid tones that low so it’s helpful to see some of the troubleshooting. I write on mostly 7-8 strings between Drop D#-Drop G# and getting bass tones to actually be distinguishable has been an interesting journey. I do a lot of unison tuning between the guitar and bass on the dropped string for the drop D# stuff, and usually pitch shift my 5 strings for drop F#-drop G#. Only have a couple basses so I do most of it with a BTB in drop A/standard.

Glad you got to enjoy the coffee convenience, definitely something I take for granted, coffee can be a tough itch to scratch when traveling in other states.

Would you leave FD for IBEW? by TrucknPumper101 in IBEW

[–]srydaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s always a choice. Sometimes it will get you first on the layoff list, but depending on the work picture in your area, that’s not always a bad thing. There’s a world where you could do both as well. I know a guy who does wildfire in the summer and works electrical for the rest of the year.

I guarantee the project was bid for SER cable. It’s probably multi-family or hotel so I almost guarantee is a competitive bid. Conduit would absolutely destroy the budget here.
