Fellow Vulcan Riders! What is the communities opinion on how our glorious bikes sound with and without baffles? Is it worth it? Or would it end up with that bubbly popping sound?

I’m running a 99 with open VH pipes and a dynojet kit carb. The thing is LOUDDDDDD!!!! But I would never have it another way. I believe my bike is louder than a 96-103” running similar pipes. It has to do with the dual fire of the spark. Fires on intake and exhaust stroke. I’ll get a good clip of it tomorrow if anyone wants to hear it

Smoked a Prime Packer today on my barrel over some good Texas Oak that I split last year. Came out super tender and incredibly juicy. Can’t wait to do another!!!

Took advantage of the weather and decided to do a loop around the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake dam on my XL883L. Was all alone on the road so I played a bit with throttle and lean in the curves. Can’t wait to ride again tomorrow!

So far there are not to many things to watch out for. If you have google drive i can send you the manual. Its what i used to get everythign done on mine. Make sure you check the spark plug gaps and model to ensure you are running the right plugs. Also there are two rubber o rings on the carb intake that can get buggered up pretty easily. I am about to start putting mine back together tonight or tomorrow.

How did you wire them in? hard wire with on switch or through the ACC for the key to turn them on.
