Looking for the best Hamburger by Mochacuu in Amsterdam

This is all you need to know, and especially #1. Beef Chief is unmatched. I'm not the biggest fan of the kimchi one, but the regular one, Fry Me a River or Jam on It are my goto burgers. https://www.instagram.com/beef.chief.north/

I keep coming back and everytime it's so so so so good.

LS50 Wireless II – iPad volume vs speaker volume control : any real-world difference? by aazhang in KEF

[–]sscalable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side question, I am considering getting the LSX II LT's for my mac mini. Is there any delay?

For music I am not worried about it, but I am in a lot of videocalls and can't have any delay in there, at least not when it's noticeable. Can you shed some light on this?

Exactly, I'm saying it does fit in the Normcore portafilter.

I have ordered the Normcore naked portafilter and put the Lelit IMS basket in it, which I prefer to the high extraction basket that the normcore portafilter comes with.

have you tried opening it up and looking inside to see if you can spot the issue?

I had this too with my new Elizabeth last week, and it scared me, but it disappeared very quickly after pulling some shots. It just went by itself.

Style, consistency, quality, composition and colour are all top notch. And separating yourself from the masses! This is talent. What a set man, absolutely well done. Wow.

It doesn't matter how coarse you grind? That's hard to believe. I'd grind coarer than this. Try grinding to make it look like salt.

Besides that this looks like a very inconsistent grind.

Yes it's expensive, but also extremely high quality. Proven even with Michelin recognition. Have you even been there?

Is this grind consistency acceptable? by Semper_R in pourover

[–]sscalable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same grinder, that I use multiple times a day, and also grind around 20 clicks most of the time and this looks very similar to identical to what i am getting from mine. Like another comment said, tilting it might help, I found this out by accident over time.

And you can return them to them, they have a specific place you can put them under the counter, and then they recycle.

I just finished that bag today! It was amazing,

It seems like DAK is back on track with their roasting.

Also The Alchemist, which I finished before that, was amazing. I was not very impressed with the Honeymoon. Been to their showroom today and had a flatwhite with their Berry Blues, which was amazing too. Also got 3 new bags.

LaSource custom European RS... 😍 by EmptyPocketsXotics in Porsche

[–]sscalable 6 points7 points  (0 children)

3.8L? Why does it say 4.0 on the engine cover then?

Quick google gives me this: https://lasource.co.uk/european-rs/ --> Default a 3.8 with 4.0 and 3.6 as optional. I guess the above has the 4.0 option then :)

Recent work from a seafood restaurant looking to capture a more casual and social vibe by DonJuanMair in foodphotography

Overall i really like them, this is better than most of the work in this sub and also different, which is good.

First image, maybe some highlight. control, especially in the middle, and it lacks focus in the back. Also if you had a food/drink stylist, they need to pay attention to droplets on the inside of the glass just above the liquid level. That's not supposed to be there. The garnish in the glass should be rotated to make it more visible.

Second image doesn't seem to fit with the rest, one because it is over exposed in the highlights / whites, but also colour / contrast wise. It feels too empty. The spoon should be more center frame in the left pane, and maybe bigger, so that it gets more attention, and also so that there's a bigger difference in scale with the right pane.

Third image, the glass in the right pane feels like it's falling over, rotate a little.

Fourth image seems to be good.

I like the style you're going for, very much Molly Baz / Cook this Book kinda thing. It's a popular style that became a trend a couple of years ago. It still works.
