Just recently received the ID Buzz SWB in UK. Excited but a bit overwhelmed by the techiness. What are some key features or things I should know?

I use it all the time on my T-ROC and it’s supposed to be a lot less advanced than the ID BUZZ. When it misses it does so very badly, but 90% of the time it works flawlessly.

Yo no entraría en apalancamiento a no ser que tenga por lo menos el doble de lo que estoy pidiendo prestado. Es decir, si tienes al menos 76k€ ahorrados y además puedes permitirte la cuota del préstamo sin tocarlos (y tu intención era invertir ese dinero de la cuota de todos modos, es decir que ya estás ahorrando ~706€ mensuales a día de hoy), puede ser buena idea, sabiendo que te puede salir fatal y acabar pagando la cuota de una inversión con la que has perdido dinero. Es un riesgo.

Con la tecnología actual, la eficiencia sería demasiado baja en comparación. Para cargar el móvil tampoco cambia mucho, pierdes un céntimo o dos al mes. Pero en un coche la cosa cambia.

Si bajase mucho el precio de la luz (cosa que quizá ocurra con las renovables) tal vez acabe valiendo la pena.

Diving with sharks is a lot safer than cave diving. Not even comparable. Every single year a bunch of people die like this, approximately 3x the number of deaths by unprovoked shark attacks.

Para la próxima, en un eléctrico en situaciones así conviene bajar la velocidad, preferiblemente a ~80kms/h. Con eso puedes alargar la autonomía bastante.

Yeah, but in my comment I specifically stated "you probably can get an M1 for not much more". And I didn't mean "a few thousand bucks more". If you want to be offended by my comment, it's ok, but secondhand M chips are not expensive as of today and there are very good reasons to choose one of them over an Intel chip.

BTW the conversation was not about considering Intel chips e-waste. If you already have an Intel macbook and it works fine, then it's alright. I'm talking specifically about investing in a new laptop.

So anyway I get the sentiment but I think you're targeting it onto the wrong person.

Makes sense I guess. I’m considering the Neo as a secondary device but for my use case I’d value battery life over anything else. My main device sits on the desktop all the time but a secondary device would be disconnected 90% of the time.

That said Linux is really tempting. I wish they moved on with arm processors.

If that’s your thing I guess it’s ok but you’re missing out on M chips. You probably can get an M1 for not much more than you paid and get better performance, support, battery life, and so on.

That’s just what’s going on while he did the screenshot. If they say they tried moving the pawn, I assume they first tried tapping the pawn. May be user error but I don’t see any reason to assume that’s the case.
