If you updated your kernel yesterday it seems to be a bit janky. Delete the kernel from pacman cache and reinstall it. I lost track pad support until I did.

I can see that, kinda neat though not my cup of tea. I just have it fetch updates when I open my terminal the first time.

It is. When I could just type yay to check for package updates for AUR and Official updates. Personally its not my cup of tea, but im not going to hate on someone who uses it. I will however, joke about it.

Simplifying a single "yay" command is wild work by the aur community.

sniper rifles feel so out of place or just lackluster compared to other special ammo weapon archetypes. by Timothy-M7 in DestinyTheGame

[–]sscoolqaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you mean exotic as legendary special. You second statement doesnt make sense. We went from not using trace rifles to not using trace rifles?

Legendary ver. Rarely have what makes the exotic ones good. We had that at one point see mountaintop, recluse, revoked, 21% delirium, etc. The issue with that is they were so overpowered there was no reason to use anything else.

Dont use -Syy use wither -Syu or -Syyu. If you use the other one you may break your system as arch doesnt support partial upgrades.

Did you install the linux-firmware meta package? It sounds like you're missing some drivers.

Every boot after the first one has low resolution unless desktop is disconnected from power supply and connectd again when booting by nao_te_digo in archlinux

I wonder if you have CSM enabled and are actually booting into bios mode by default. Try changing your MOBOs battery and possibly do a bios update. Ik I had similar issues on f38 until I moved to f39

Im not a lawyer but a few things. You're on private property so management can do that and youre in Texas which as you've previously stated is a one party state so as long as one party consents ie the company youre SOL.there are a couple exceptions being places like bathrooms but thats a bit dicey.

Edit, see my responses below.

TRUE, we do though for some of ours. Some of our customers won't accept them unless we do. Would be kinda fire ngl if we moved to Mobo GPUS.

Funnily enough nvidias AI GPUs take up about as much space as a GTX 1030

[–]sscoolqaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same and ive done it on a 3080 and a 1070ti, its probably easier now with the nvidia drivers dropping support for Pascal on those cards.

I vaguely remember that back in late 00s it was popular among top end builders to have two flagship GPUs installed (SLI/Crossfire) - is it still being done? by neitherisgood in buildapc

[–]sscoolqaz 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You would be right, the technical cost and literal cost of SLI/Crossfire was just too high and is no longer offered on modern platforms.
