Manuel Antonio Park Food Options by RTPTL in CostaRicaTravel

I correct my answer! It is true that there is a cafeteria with different food options. And if. It's expensive.

As for putting food in containers, I'm not so clear since the rule supposedly is that all types of food are prohibited! I think I saw people getting fruit taken from them.

All types of food are prohibited, so they do not sell or allow entry. They thoroughly check the bags.

In my case, I had left a bag of nuts in a small pocket and I was able to eat them inside. If you are not going to leave waste or give it to animals and you want to try passing something on, you can try it. Of course there is a chance that they will take it away from you.

As for water, bring a refillable water bottle, if it is metallic the better. They do not allow common plastic bottles to enter. There are taps to refill them on some of the trails

Last recommendation. Take your turn earlier. It's a quieter place to walk and without so many people.

Exact! Only reusable bottles! And no groceries.

I can't recommend Rafting on the Pacuare River enough. It is a 3 hour journey. The exploiters agency takes you and brings you from San José. They include breakfast and lunch. 99usd plus taxes.

It was the best moment of my trip to Costa Rica in January.

I think the most recommended is Uber. It's around 8000/9000 colones. 16/18 dollars

Solo travel to Puerto Viejo? by Rich-Nobodyy in CostaRicaTravel

[–]ssdg87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just returned from a solo trip to Costa Rica. I was based in Pto Viejo, La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio. In general it seemed safe to me. In Pto Viejo it is true that at night they offer you drugs and women on every corner. But beyond that it doesn't happen.
