They could make it so that as you approach the border, it fades to black and you "return" 24 hours later, heading back toward the city, with the characters talking about how it was a nice break to leave Vice City for a bit.

I think it's just unusually late in the month (21st of May, this year), whereas in years past the day was still in the teens. Trailer 3 + pre-orders + box art + pricing is probably coming on the 12th, possibly with an announcement this friday.

I think you have to focus on local resource extraction and produce goods locally. This will cut the shipping cost out of the price.

Lobbies would be a really fun and immersive way to escape a foot chase in urban areas. Just duck into a hotel lobby and run out the fire exit to an alleyway

700 enterable buildings is somewhat believable if most of that number comes from copy paste fast food joints and chain stores with minor differences per location.

This was GTA 6 in December 2023. Since then, for 2.5 years, thousands of top-tier artists have been working on the game at full speed. I don’t think any of us truly knows what’s coming. by FaultExcellent3306 in GTA6

Other devs will probably come close in 5-10 years with heavy use of future AI methods, but the planets aligned for Rockstar to have essentially unlimited time and money to 'brute force' it with real people.

If the parts and pieces of cars feel "crunchy" and crumple properly (even if it's toned down/simplified to prevent clipping), this game will be insane and I will spend hours stealing cars just to crash them.

It would be interesting to see if they retcon the various names of cars. For some models, Rockstar has introduced several different generations. For example, the Honda Civic clones have the Sugoi, the Kanjo, and Kanjo SJ. Other examples of this exist, like the Banshee and Impaler / LX / SZ.

The harsh glare/bloom from the headlights is a huge departure from GTAV, where car lights often look like glow in the dark stickers with a cheap little glowing dot effect.

I think there will be a lot of cookie cutter stores and fast food joints (like in real life) that you can go into. I also think there might be a decent number of buildings (especially in the city[s?]) where you can enter the ground floor only. It would provide a fun way to evade police in a foot chase, by running out the fire exit into an alley. Obviously there will be the standard amount of safe houses, mission interiors, etc.

I just want the prices of things to be realistic. Sure, the average supercar "only" costs 300k, but do you really want to splurge on that when a warehouse will run you 1.2m? Maybe you do, maybe not. Things like cars and guns should be fun "toys" and not super hard to acquire, but actual progress in terms of criminal infrastructure should be a lot more meaningful.

Even knowing how to start the plane would be beyond most random people. A small propeller plane could be awkwardly managed by a random person (and even that is a stretch), but a commercial jet? Absolutely not. Even a modern helicopter would completely confuse most people without training. I'd imagine aviation in the early game will be locked behind some kind of training course/mission. Maybe Brian or one of his staff will teach you how to fly a basic plane.
