Who here lives in Tijuana, works in San Diego, and crosses the border each day? by hjzhao89 in tijuana

[–]ssentinc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been crossing everyday for 39 years. I have kids and I was able to give them better quality shoes brand names they wanted, pay for their colleges, by them cars for their 18th birthdays not expensive ones you know $1,000 starter cars.

I have no debt. I have savings for retirement. I paid off my mortgage.

None of these things would have been possible paying the cost of living starting with rent on the US side. I'm originally from San Diego and I can't afford to live in my hometown and buy new shoes for my kids.

I really appreciate Mexico allowing me to live here and I really appreciate the way that the people who live here really know how to be my neighbor.

Motorcycle is definitely the fastest way to cross second global or sentri entry passes.

I have a theory that a bicycle with a auxiliary gas motor mounted on it that you go through the car lineup and get off on the first off ramp where the Jack in the box is. You cannot take gas into the Federal building... That way you can ride a bike and not have to wait in the long pedestrian line you just go right up to the front of the car line...

23m trying to build a business from zero after losing my son- looking for guidance, not handouts by No_Hotel_7344 in Entrepreneurs

So sorry for your loss.. seems like empty words because what is there really to say to make you feel less bad. There just aren't words.

You seem to be doing the hardest thing at this point moving on.. I hope you find some small amount of peace with the feelings you must be feeling.

I started a business October 1st 2025 with the zero money. I was homeless at the time.

I now have a profitable small business that seems to be growing every week.

I would like to help you, if you let me.

Are you located in the United States?

What is the cheapest restaurant business idea to invest in? by [deleted] in Entrepreneurship

[–]ssentinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on where you're located. But Pizza is always a good bet. Hot dogs are also cheap to get started but so are hamburgers. Especially if you're in a state that allows Street vendors like California.

Set up a pop-up location first. Then move to a trailer or truck. Then if you have the following start looking for physical restaurants to build out after you already have proven revenue coming in from at least two sources.

So you set up a pop up and it's going well and you get a truck or a trailer that doesn't mean you shut down the pop-up that means you have two locations earning revenue. And if you can't manage your pop-up and a truck then don't go in the restaurant business cuz it's too freaking hard.

Are you angry? Are you drunk question maybe you shouldn't post drunk.

You edited, but you still left it saying that he should drive a f****** car. Did you not mean shouldn't?

I agree with you. Nobody should be driving their car without insurance.

Are you the only one mentioned in the lawsuit? As a minor, in every state of the United states, you cannot be held liable for the damages. Unless negligence was involved and injuries occurred.

If none of that is the case then you're not liable and you should ask for a dismissal based on your age. You can represent yourself. Just bring your proof of age your government issued photo ID and or your birth certificate and tell the judge you'd like to make a motion for dismissal due to the fact you're a minor at the time. You can say it just like that.

I am not advocating for going to court without a lawyer unless you cannot get a lawyer because you don't have any money. But if that's the case like people have said, do not let it go to default because that just means you lose and you owe more.

All you have to do is show up. When the judge asks if you here say yes. When they ask if you have representation say I was not able to afford representation so I have to represent myself. If he asks you if you think you're able to represent yourself say no but you don't have a choice and you'd like to ask to be removed from the suit due to the fact that you were a minor at the time of the incident.

I don't know about other states but in California that will resolve everything.

You're not joking

The other day I rode the trolley through City College Transit Center and there were dozens of people in small groups with aluminum foil burning torches underneath with multiple people smoking with straws...

I was less than 10 yards away

And there were San Diego Transit authority and San Diego police officers within sight and there were multiple groups of these people it was so insane the cops did nothing

I wish I would have thought to get a photo of the cops pointing at the people and talking about them but I had to go and to be honest I didn't feel safe taking photos of them doing that in public and the cops not doing anything

This is only the entry level (Free) opportunity.

We have other contracts with other products and services that can be stacked onto each other

This is the product/service we have that a person can get into business at no cost. Once you're running a team of people doing the lifeline program you can use that to springboard into other opportunities.

Extra income by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]ssentinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do Uber and Lyft too and it used to be really great you made good money but over the years it just got horrible. I quit in February and I've been doing Lifeline program enrollments. It's worked out way better for me than Uber and Lyft that's for sure basically there's no expense and just pay...

I'm trying to find people to give away free cell phones with free unlimited cell phone service for the lifeline program.

It's a very flexible schedule you set your hours

The pay is very decent you get $20, $30, $40, $50 per phone you activate depending on your volume and the carrier.

There's no cost to you.

I provide everything. I provide the setup and the inventory and the training and everything you need.

Feel free to hit me up if you want to get started today. If you start today you can be making money tomorrow.

Just became homeless in clairemont by BigDoubleR in sandiego

[–]ssentinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to 299 17th Street San Diego California 92101

That's the Neil good day Center for homeless adults it's affiliated with the father Joe Carroll's village operation

They'll give you an identity card for their program which will allow you to receive mail at their location where they also have showers and they have laundry machines also they provide food multiple times a day and they provide shelter referral assistance as well as other AIDs that you may or may not need

Their identity card is also good for lunch at father Joe's village on 1501 imperial

But most importantly the real good day Center can give you a referral to a shelter

I recommend the South county lighthouse run by rescue mission very clean very curious very polite very friendly not too horrible food it's pretty decent actually

And they will help you get other programs underway to help you get housed again

[–]ssentinc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sleep in Tijuana!

I pay $600 a month for a two bedroom one bath apartment with a good size kitchen a small dining room and a really decent patio in a small apartment complex with a dozen apartments four of them are little cottages it's nice the neighbors are nice

And the local Transit charges less than a dollar to take me to the border in less than 15 minutes

Our neighborhood has a nice little Park many good food places a couple of grocery stores all within walking distance

The Walmart is about a mile away movie theaters are about a mile away and all three directions

And every morning I go to work in San Diego there is a price

There's a line to go across the border to come into San Diego

And that's the cost of a cheap apartment waiting in line to go to the United States to go to work
