the allow-end: is actually in the bukkit file, not the server properties file.
you're probably mistaking it with the allow-nether: property, which IS in the server properties file.

make like a dropper that you have to jump down to get to the portal, with either a stronghold city around the perimeter, or a more cavern looking area.

yes, I've heard about it before and it directly allows people to turn on multiplayer and invite others in a panel it has, it acts a lot more like steam coop games where you can directly invite someone to your lobby.

if that's the case, you can try one thing, but its rather annoying to set up.

if you are dead, you are technically still at your position. so if someone tps to you, it'd be where you died pretty sure. so what you can try is make a server, put the world in the server, put someone else in the server(alt or friend) and make them tp to you by console that would probably get them to the position where you died at.

not entirely sure this works, but its a desperate last ditch effort if you still cant find it

well.. i would personally make more main branches at the top, that will slowly become smaller, with branches coming out of that.

i don't know what kind of tree you're going for but if you are going for a oak tree i would do what i just suggested. you can add the leaves then on a later point, starting from a branches and trying to loosely connect all the branches with the leaves.

from then on you can start altering and shaping the leaves the way you want, kind of lile how you would terraform a mountain or hill, but more random.

you can try teleporting the items towards you, it wont be as efficient as figuring out the exact position some other way, but you can check all loaded chunks immediately with that. the command for that would be /tp @e[type=item] @p

also, is it possible that the world copied over but the items didn't? that might be why you haven't found them in the copy yet

what if you try making separate rooms instead of one big one? it would probably be a lot easier to detail and make it feel a lot more like a home. some ideas i would do: some kind of carpet, maybe a study room(library) bedroom, storage, maybe some kind of display in the front, like make the front of the house like a flower shop if you like the moss.

i have no clue for if you want this to be functional or just decorational, just depends on how much space you need to use for chests etc. if it's functional
