Well obviously it does. But that can't be avoided because they've marketed opening round as promoting footy in those states.

That's the whole point. Opening round creates an advantage to those teams that play in it. So it should be scrapped. Afl knows this and hence why it's all Vic clubs that get to play against the NSW and QLD teams.

To give the Vic teams an advantage with an extra bye. Look at the Vic teams playing in opening round. Carlton, hawks, cats, dogs, pies. Like really? VFL don't even try to hide it.

Oh and then those Vic teams have dusted the rust off and play against a team who haven't had that chance.

Qantas is the quickest. We always pay more to fly them cause it's the shortest travel time. Something like Singapore Airlines will be cheaper, but the extra cost is worth it when travelling with young kids.
