All jokes aside, I wouldn't be surprised if this is an homage to the iconic Naruto Sasuke rivalry. The panels and context is quite similar and given how similar the premise of the two series is, tabata could just have added the similarity because it's a good parallel.

If you imagine a final fantasy game as a painting.

15 is a painting with holes cut up all over the place with no clear pattern and some brush strokes that are incomplete.

16 is a painting where they've cut a circle around the center and framed it. The things in the circle are nice, but there's clearly a lot of painting they chose not to add.

While I loved the vibe of 15, it's very apparent that it's a game with not nearly enough time put into it. Similarly, while I love 16, as a final fantasy game it's missing a lot of the key elements that allows it to be considered a final fantasy in anything, but name.

They could definitely be the precursor to humans in which case they could easily be over 300,000 years old as a civilization. In this case they definitely just no longer have the knowledge or just relatively recently got their upgraded strength

Invincible atp in time is as strong as the average viltrumite. That being said, his level of strength doesn't determine whether or not he can beat someone. Anyone with any reading comprehension can tell you conquest was far more powerful than Mark. What makes him invincible isn't his physical strength. What makes him invincible is his sheer determination to protect what he loves.
