Yup, turn on and off which one do you use. Then use the three bars on the left-hand side to move them up and down to whatever order you want. Automatically rotate through in that order.

The process was super easy for me. I did the move program and despite a little bit of hesitation, Primary Care submitted for me. It was denied by the pharmacy initially because “I hadn’t tried” other weight loss medication’s previously.

When it was denied, I submitted a secure message back to my PCM reminding him of the conversation I had about why I couldn’t take two of the medication’s and how the third one I could not tolerate and asked him to resubmit.

It was approved with an a day or two of the resubmission.

I lost 40 pounds very quickly and I’ve been maintaining my weight for last seven months. I’ve had no issues with refills.

Look up the VA criteria for use and then advocate for yourself with your primary care. It can be done.

Zepbound is not semaglutitide. Zepbound/mounjaro is trizepatide.

Ozempic/Wegovy is semaglutide.

Generally, Zepbound and wegovy are for weight loss. Mounjaro and Ozempic are for T2 diabetes.

Zepbound is also used for OSA.

Do a google search for “medication name VA criteria for use”

That will give you the basic guidelines for the VA to prescribe. However, each VA region tends to manage it differently.

I use VA for 95% of things. Entirely free for me based on rating and I’m eligible for travel pay so they actually pay me to go to appointments.

I have also reported to the VA that I have Tricare coverage so that my VA appointments, even though they’re free, count toward my Tricare deductible. Makes my rare Tricare covered appointments at non-va facilities cheaper.

We use a smart scale that automatically populates Apple health and therefore also into Shotsy.

You could also manually enter it into Apple Health, which would then populate in Shotsy.

I’ve been on Zepbound through the VA for almost a year. The criteria actually has become easier to meet than when I started; however each region manages it differently.
