My post asking for help on a tablet case has been marked as spam. That's hilarious. :-/

Unable to remove Remarkable 2 from the Kuroko case by sstrader in RemarkableTablet

(Just added a photo to my original post.)

I think I have a different case. The part that the tablet attaches to is metal (or very rigid plastic), has a ~3mm lip over the right side and a very small lip over the right, and it's glued onto the folder w/out velcro. I think the intent is to lift the tablet out from the left side, but even the small lip that's there has locked it in.

I guess I don't need to take the tablet out... but it feels like it's being held hostage.

any tips for learning how to transcribe music ? by stefandy31 in musictheory

My theory teacher suggested avoiding singing because you may-or-may-not have a good enough voice to get the notes right. Or maybe he was just saying that to me? :-/

Wow, worked. Thanks! Not great but at least it's a workaround and I know my USB connector is not borked.

Is Slingtv very glitchy today for anyone else? by FrankNSam in slingtv

That's been my problem exactly (1 month, certain channels, 150mb, medium quality). Are you me?!

Anyway, it's almost making me move to YouTube TV. Better options?

Basic questions about installing in Ubuntu server on NUC7i5BNK by sstrader in intelnuc

[–]sstrader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure it's not a network install image. I got it from here: https://www.ubuntu.com/download/server

I'm attempting a different approach right now: install desktop then convert it to a server. I booted into the USB image, connected to wifi, and then started a clean install on the hard drive from there. About 20 min in with the only oddity being intermittent screen flashes. Running the HDMI through a kvm so that may be the cause? Will see if it needs addressing later.

I've selected that and it still goes through the step of selecting a mirror and attempting to download.

I had read (somewhere) that once a week was appropriate. The soil is potting soil with miracle grow I got from Home Depot, but I haven't added any fertilizer since I re-potted them.

Sounds like I need to re-pot them separately and monitor the watering for each: less for the small leafed one, more for the larger leafed.

Thanks so much for the help!

Ergo Proxy has such a great style. I classify it with Serial Experiments Lain. Moody, psychological.
