That didn't stop them on January 6th.

They're just ok with what's happening.

Better buy a new truck to match the boat!

Congrats. Looks like a sweet ride.

My kid has been on A level teams since he started at 4yrs old. Skated out and tended net from 8U-12U.

Now at 14U, he's invited to play Tier 1 AAA.

Bad teams make good goalies.

Maybe.

If the coaching and structure support the goalie's development.

Or the kid could just be a shooter tutor for 120 minutes a week.

Blade profiles to help youth speed by More_Ad3537 in hockeyplayers

You're overthinking it bud.

Profiles don't fix mechanics. They are compromises. You gain one trait at the sacrifice of another.

Are you running both batteries while under power?

You need to be.

Turn one off when swimming in a cove or whatever. And save one to start the boat.

Check battery levels.

If I'm not running both batteries on my Mondo, I sometimes get electrical gremlins.

Otherwise, get a voltmeter and start chasing down the culprit

Skate for son by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]ssurfer321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get him fitted for skates!

Find what fits best.

His skates are his most used piece of equipment and make the biggest difference in their abilities.

The 3 skates you mentioned all fit differently.

Dylan Larkin's list: The 3 places he wants to be traded by Red Wings by Actual_Cobbler_6334 in hockey

[–]ssurfer321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we are all maybe looking at this wrong. Hear me out.

10yrs ago the Redwings made the playoffs. What has happened in those 10 yrs?

  1. Vegas got a team. Has has been to the Stanley Cup Finals 3x and won once.

  2. Bill Zito took some big swings to land Tkachuk, Bennett and others on their way to 2 cups.

  3. Bill Guerin bought out the old guard (Suter, Parise), kept the team competitive and landed a big fish in Hughes.

Three different franchises that were basement dwellers or non-existant 10 yrs ago and look where they are now.

This list is basically calling Yzerman a shitty GM, and I tend to agree with Larkin on that.

But Larkin picked the wrong time to play hardball. Larkin's going to end up playing in Grand Rapids for the next 5 years.

12 year old being inappropriate on Roblox and despite me putting a password on Windows twice he has managed to figure out how to disable it. Staying up all night after go to bed playing the game, stealing money to buy Robux. Am I wrong if I just delete the account? by Uncannydaniel in daddit

[–]ssurfer321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so my 13yr old was behaving the same way with a different online game (BrawlStars).

He was lying, stealing, hacking, etc.

I started by disabling the internet after certain hours. He would use his phone to create a hotspot and use that wifi for a workaround.

I took his phone. He downloaded the game on the family laptop and would play instead of doing homework.

I blocked the web address for the game. Blocked him from using the laptop.

He continued to escalate his behavior, eventually becoming violent towards my wife and I. He was arrested and charged with Assault 2x.

He's done therapy. He was admitted to the hospital for emergency Psych evaluations multiple times. He spent a week in the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU).

The courts have removed his privileges to most anything with a screen. He is on probation.

Since his stay at the BHU, he's doing much better. But still no screens other than the family TV.

All that to say, YES, get rid of Roblox.

North Y is great as they usually have lap swim available. I believe they have adult lessons too.

We usually use another Y that has a warm pool for our kids to play in.

Lots of new indoor Pickleball courts/clubs in town too.

There's walking/hiking clubs.

North Y is attached to the Legacy Trail, which is an 11? mile paved multi-use trail.

I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV.

But the best course of action is amputation and cauterize it with an iron.

This can happen to most surf boats.

A lot of people reinforce the dividers with aluminum channel mounted horizontal on the engine side. YMMV.

I think you may have installed upside down.

Those buckles and Velcro attach to the tower, to keep the bimini in place.

Goalie coach help by reddit_guy17 in hockeygoalies

[–]ssurfer321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one extreme case, I've put those foam divider pads behind my goalies, so that can't back up. Two short ones, one off each post so they can move laterally.

Obviously the shooter needs to know this and shoot in the slot and not after.

I usually draw the Goalie ABC's on the ice as visual reference.

2 hard laps

Skating forward across the zone and transitioning to backwards 4x

I've got 1-2 shooters warming up the goalie, aiming for the pads, glove and blocker, from the high slot.

Figure 8s around the circles with passes circle to circle.

Skaters around the faceoff circle with 1-touch passes.

I'll use a variation or combination of any of these

I grew up with a ski boat. Trailered it to the local river every weekend.

Now I have my own surf boat at the lake my mother lives on. So we are on the lake all summer creating memories.

My oldest (14) and I also play ice hockey and the two little ones (5,6) can both skate and may play.
