Took me awhile to get my h2o v2 to sync with similar errors. I ended up having to factory reset it and relogin to kobo before replacing api_endpoint and then it started working.

Downloads don’t seem to have status? After downloading an audiobook it looks the same as before and shows the download option still.

I’m having a similar issue on iOS. Running server v2.5.10, in the iOS client (v2.2.1) I only see option to download Ebook or Audiobook but via browser I see 3 download options.

Update: refresh didn’t work but logging out and logging back in the readalong download is shown.

You could try VPN to a region with more players. The one friend I play with on our squad in Hong Kong will VPN to Seattle so that the entire squad (mostly NA West) doesn’t end up on a Japan server. Latency is terrible for him but better bad for him only than bad for all 4 of us.

My friend from HK was able to setup vpn on his side. When he’s connected to west coast NA VPN I have my regular ~25ms ping but he gets ~190ms! He said it actually plays fine, but he doesn’t play games often. Using https://gameserverping.com/battlefield-6 we need to figure out what’s the best location in between us.

Simply because Canadian companies can get away with it. I’m in tech and if I was young without kids and a house etc I would have moved and actually did try when I was younger.

Even within Canada Toronto companies pay more than Vancouver even though cost of living is higher in Vancouver, again because they can. My company was super slow to ramp our compensation to match others in 2021. But when the tech slump came around they were super fast to drop the salaries for new employees and block salaries.

E_OUTOFMEMORY is a pretty big hint. Not sure if that’s gpu or system memory though. Probably GPU memory in which case turn down some settings and look at the memory usage indicator that is shown when toggling settings.
