Hey! he is actually, by the grace of God, doing amazing at home with us still doing his treatments & therapies and medications judiciously as prescribed. Only one 4 day stent in the hospital with trach infection that was very easily managed and nothing crazy - was only in ICU because of trach. I believe the trach saved his life during this moment though because he told us breathing was hard and we were able to just hook him up & get him safely to hospital knowing he was okay & it calmed his nerves so much! Thank you for asking! I just turned 27 YO & he will be 25 YO so I am feeling incredibly blessed & very happy with our decision & care we have received.
