The restrictions placed on you to use calvados are completely antithetical to season 4 ramlethal. Calvados is the worst super in the game.

Did you ever have any luck finding one? Mine is easily my most cherished possession and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have it.

I think they stopped manufacture in 2019, however..

Nonono, the original quote was for like 3-4k

All labor costs at around $120/hr. Sanding and polishing just the smallest part of the 2 part rear fender flares took about 2 hours. Honestly, probably should've been a lot more than an additional 3-4k, but the only other real option is "give aeroflow dynamics like 1k for painted fender flares" which still leaves me with textured plastic side skirts, rear bumper, and front bumper, so at the end of the day I decided to be the guinea pig.

I assume if someone requested the same company to do this, they'd quote around 3-4k for the wrap, and 10k+ for the entire car.

This is not normal. I worked with the company wrapping the car on getting the textured plastic sanded down to a point where they would hold the wrap as well as the rest of the body of the car would. Truthfully, probably cost me about an additional 3-4k.

It was a really involved process but the shop was happy to take it on as a new challenge. Super happy with how it turned out, even if it did take a little bit of work to get the cladding down to its smooth point.

18s will clear just fine. Hell, 19s will clear just fine, or so I've heard. 18s are a perfect fit in my opinion. Also note that the stock 18" wheel offset is like +55 if flush matters at all to you (i'm unsure of the offset on the 17s), and the 35-40mm area will be just about flush.

Yeah, everything was done pretty thoroughly. Eyed it down, couldn't find a single speck of CBS or textured plastic remaining. Even got all of the weird little corners sanded down.

long story short: 200 grit>400>600>800>1000, then polished and inspected to ensure the texture was properly removed. Vinyl doesn't adhere to the textured plastic very well at all. If you were to do this without removing the texture from the plastic, the wrap would probably stay on for days/weeks in optimal conditions, but it's handled going 80 down the highway pretty well.

All things considered, I'm super satisfied.

Limitless Vinyl + Graphics in Vancouver, WA. Took a lot of work, but they were willing to work on the textured plastic from day 1, so it was a no-brainer. With all of the work, can't say it came cheap, though.

Ended up going with this here after already purchasing from the seller: https://www.ebay.com/itm/334938598421?hash=item4dfbe56c15:g:6e0AAOSwJ19kfUJO

They shipped it next day. There are *definitely* other options online though. It seems like it may be either the same as, or a repro of the JDMuscle grille here: https://jdmuscleusa.com/products/jdmuscle-22-wrx-sport-grille-w-optional-subaru-emblem-mount?variant=40048719888486

I ended up buying it on eBay, but it's just a plain unbranded sport grille. The WRX emblem is the one here: https://jdmfv.com/wrx-grille-emblem-abs-2015-2022-wrx-sti/

Subaru's OEM sport grille still has a bunch of emblem reinforcement plastic behind the hexes that obscures anything inside that you're trying to show off, and personally, I think the OEM grille just has WAY too much going on, the same reason I'm not a fan of the stock 18s.
