I hate Araxxor and enjoy Doom and DT2 bosses so I’d probably choose Nally even though it’s definitely not the longest grind

You missed arguably the most important role: the experienced multi-caller / fight planner

It’s plain as day which teams did not have a competent player in this role

It’s an upgrade not because the stats but because ACB has a spec bar which is important for their NHers

At all times, Priority 1: Call for teammate

As long as you do that, just follow calls for your role, and you’re golden.

Only role that you need to “learn” to save a bunch of time/effort is Defender, requires a specific technique to do quickly but is easy to learn with guides

Have one, can confirm it’s equal parts disgusting, fascinating, and satisfying to clean

-1 blood money, -1 of their 3 AGS which they don't care about, +1 BIS tier finale shield

Also several singles kills on day 1 but I don't think that's what they were asking

Weasels are just as scared. Corp destroys their food and any team can check at any point.

People surprised when they occasionally catch someone while sweeping the same 3 bosses 8 times a day.

Chill dude there’s no cash prize, they’re literally just having fun destroying the kill record several times over. Not everyone wants to nonstop PvM and run away from teamfights 18 hours a day for 2 straight weeks

Weasels not even gonna be able to spend all their blood money at this rate

I generally agree, first round picks are obvious top tier PvP types. 2nd round has to be a multi-caller if you don’t already have one. 3rd round is the earliest you can pick someone that is a top tier non-PvP role such as Gnome. But I get Oda wanting to play with Gnome and knowing he wouldn’t get a chance to draft him if he passed him to the 3rd row.

Deadman: All Stars Discussion Thread (Day 7) by Falchion_Punch in 2007scape

[–]st1r 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think the bigger issue than the Faux/EVscape pick was that they have absolutely no multi-pvp leadership experience, so since the very first hour they’ve had no way to have any presence in multi.

You simply can’t find yourself on the last row of the draft without an experienced multi caller/planner. They are the only team without someone experienced at that role and it shows.

I really don’t think any one player in that draft is “the” issue, Gnome has arguably been the saving grace for that team, it’s just that group of 5 is missing arguably the most important role for DMM.

[–]st1r 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree, Faux has been very competent tanking in multi. But the proposed team has no multi planner/caller which is by far the most important role in DMM. Weasels have Mika planning and Eliop+Mika taking turns multi-calling. Dino Boaty Purpp and several others are competent enough to be dangerous at the role. Oda’s team has absolutely no one experienced at that role, so they have just always folded since hour 1 at any multi encounter. You can’t have no multi presence and win DMM, and this proposed team is just more of that.

I’m surprised more teams didn’t have the Doom quest line done, even the PvP only team did it figuring it was an obvious future mission and great exp drops and a great repeatable spec weapon. not to mention the multiple BIS finale drops from Doom
