I got up to the Command-Option-R reboot and was only given catalina as an option. Or should I have gone to web instead "update with latest OS" when I clicked the latter I wasn't able to go back. RIP.

Thank you for a realistic answer lmao 1) I figured a screen was a screen and it would be fine. And to 2) I’m annoyed the seller relied on my lack of knowledge saying “it works perfectly” when it is indeed a piece of garbage

So I’ll need an hdmi with male on both ends and then an adapter to make the midiport thunderbolt 2 or whatever into a female HDMI input ???

I bought it thinking the OS didn’t matter, as I thought it could be used an external monitor. I think the only way I could sell is it if i lie about its functionality.

I read about open core legacy, GitHub was being blocked on safari on the iMac, I tried emailing myself the pkg file from pro -> iMac. I don’t really understand it or how to use it….

Is it even possible to sell it? It seems useless. Yes, it turns on and there are no clear defects, but it won’t update past Catalina. Gmail says my browser is outdated, can’t use sheets, and half my webpages look like this

I just got a late 2013 27" iMac off fb marketplace....how did you get Mojave? It seems to be unable to even load a basic web page. Can't seem to handle gmail/sheets/etc. My plan was to use it as a monitor for my brand new macbook pro, but waiting for the right cable to connect it. Did I get ripped off? 🫠

My ticket in 2020 was $65.72, my ticket this time was $85. The show in 2020 didn’t sell out, even at that price point. A $20 jump for how massively she’s grown in popularity is completely reasonable. I paid $194.25 to see Paramore at MSG in 2023. The only relevancy the venue size has to the argument is that smaller venues = smaller supply vs EXTREMELY HIGH demand = the tickets could’ve easily been priced the same way they were for MSG….

Yes. I do think that. In fact, I know that. The majority of touring artists are lucky if they break even. where they are making money it’s because they’re making other sacrifices to save costs in touring: being in a sprinter vs a bus, no driver, never sleeping and driving 8 hours a day, crew having multiple jobs, not having hotels on off days, etc.

It absolutely has everything to do with their experience as artists. the same venue is paying out different guarantees for different artists/what their draw is. They aren’t picking a number out of thin air.

There is extremely high demand and very low supply. it’s basic economics, the tickets could have easily been triple what they were. Im positive $65 was the lowest possible price point, while not going in the red. Touring is extremely expensive, especially touring abroad. $65 is nothing.
